We improve threat assessment by combining computer science and psychological science. Dechefr is based on over 10 years of research on intelligence analysis, risk assessment and threat detection in digital environments.
Nazar Akrami, PhD
Dr. Nazar Akrami is a professor of psychology at the Department of psychology, Uppsala University. His research interest includes stereotyping and prejudice, personality niche-building processes, personality assessment, and extremism and radicalization. Akrami's more recent work deals with personality assessment based on text, hate speech detection, and digital risk assessment.
Lisa Kaati, PhD
Dr. Lisa Kaati received a Ph.D. in computer science from Uppsala University in 2008. She is currently an associate professor at the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences, Stockholm University. Her research interests focus on predicting human behavior by studying online activities using theory and research from computer science and statistics. Dr. Kaati has worked at the Swedish Defence Research Agency for 14 years with research related to intelligence analysis, defence and policing.
Amendra Shrestha, PhD
Dr. Amendra Shrestha received his Ph.D. in computer science from Uppsala University in 2019 and began his postdoc at the Department of Psychology at Uppsala University shortly thereafter. Dr. Shrestha's research focuses on developing technologies for analyzing digital environments by combining psychology, linguistics, and AI.
